Always In The Fridge

I’ve been meaning to start putting up very simple little meals for the things that are perpetually in my fridge.

This one uses only a few things: spaghetti noodles, canned salmon (tuna works), leafy greens (spring mix is best though lettuce and tomato not bad either), pepper, salt,

  1. Throw on some water for spaghetti noodles (more better if whole wheat). Don’t salt very much, you’ll get plenty elsewhere in this dish.
  2. Grab a pretty big bowl and throw your greens and salmon in. It’s about a half can per quarter of your standard spaghetti bag and greens to taste (a lot.)
  3. When noodles have been drained, throw them in and sprinkle feta and pepper to taste.
  4. Done.
  5. Quite good.

And if you happen to have soy-milk (milk doesn’t work as well) and frozen berries of any kind desert can be equally simple: just throw a few handfuls of frozen berries in a coffee mug then pour in soy-milk to the level of the berries. Let stand a minute so that the soy chills and ices up around the berries. Enjoy with a spoon.
